Arch.Nasir Iqbal

Graduate studies in Architecture at Bartlette DPU, University College London – University of London UK. During the stay in UK, he attended projects/seminars at University of Wales and University of Yorkshire, He represented University of London team of Post Graduate Architects in an International project in Morocco, sponsored by Govt. of Morocco. With the training of Architecture in UK and subsequent international visits to study development in the regional and international architecture, Arch. Nasir lqbal returned to Pakistan with an objective to strive for producing creative yet rational, indigenous yet internationally competitive architectural work for his home land. He started Architectural practice in Islamabad in partnership with Arch. Tariq Mehmood (MSc.Arch.,MAIA) in 1996. In 1999 he became the sole proprietor of NASIR’S DESIGN and by 2003 NASIR’S DESIGN, was successful in completing projects for quality conscious clientele of multinational corporate sector and developers. Among them were Bank of America Islamabad Office, British Council Offices in Islamabad and Lahore, Paktel (then Cable and Wireless) Head Office in Islamabad, and various Ufone offices in Pakistan. In 2003, NASIR’S DESIGN was commissioned to design Faysal Bank Building at Jinnah Avenue Islamabad, which in 2005 received the “IAP NATIONAL AWARD OF EXCELLENCE IN ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN”, declared as being a trend setting building for the Architecture of Islamabad. In 2006, NASIR’S DESIGN was selected among seven Architects from Pakistan to propose designs for CDA head quarter building in Islamabad. His design was awarded as the second best design by the PCATP & CDA. Among the recent completed Architecture design projects are, Ufone Regional Office Building in Lahore, Faysal Bank regional office in Lahore. Whereas recently completed interior design project are Etisalat-PTCL Head office Islamabad, Mari Gas Head office Islamabad and China Mobile (LONG) Head office in Islamabad. Currently NASIR’S DESIGN is engaged in high quality Architectural projects like. Mall 99 in Lahore a 21 storey Mix use high rise building, Khudadad Heights 16 storey residential apartment complex in Islamabad, Institute of Avionics and Aeronautical Engineering and Air University complex in Islamabad
